Library Rules


1. Eating and drinking is not permitted in the library. Food and drinks must be either left on the front counter, put away, or thrown away.
2. Maintain a quiet study atmosphere.
3. Students must always sign in at the circulation desk and turn in a pass, unless part of a scheduled class.
4. A current internet license is required to use the Internet. Word processing programs and the library catalog may be accessed without a license.
5. Email, chat, and message boards are prohibited on library computers.

Circulation Policies

1. Students may check out up to three books at a time.
2. Books are checked out for a period of three weeks. Books may be renewed for an additional three weeks. Renewals can be called in if the student is absent.
3. Overdue fines are ten cents per item per day, with a maximum fine of $3.00.
4. Students will not receive their report card if they have overdue books on their record.
5. Reference books, magazines, and newspapers are not available for checkout.
6. Photocopies and computer printouts are ten cents per page, and are only available in black and white.
7. Internet licenses may be replaced for $1.00.
