The Government Club offers two major activities: the High School Mock Trial Competition and the Tennessee State Youth Legislature. Students on the Mock Trial team act as laywers and witnesses as they compete to win the verdict in a model case. At the annual State Youth Legislature, students "become the government" as they participate in a model House and Senate. Any student in grades 9-12 who is interested in political and legal issues is invited to join the Government Club.
